A black standard case comes with our wallets. Most of our cases are magnetically compatible with our wallets, so you can easily switch to another IDEAL OF SWEDEN case whenever you like.

Yes! The dimensions for some iPhone models only differ by 0.1-0.2 mm which allows the same case to fit multiple phone models perfectly!

OUR JOURNEY TOWARDS RECYCLED PHONE CASES

To meet our sustainability targets and reduce our environmental footprint, one of our focus areas has been using recycled and responsibly sourced materials. Our primary focus has been finding a way to phase out the virgin plastic in our top-selling fashion cases. We wanted to ensure that the plastic we put in our phone cases reuses waste while having similar properties as our existing polycarbonate, moving us forward and closer to a circular economy.

Are all parts of the fashion case made from recycled material?

The main part of the phone case is made of recycled plastic, or more concretely, post-consumer recycled polycarbonate. Of course, there is room for improvement, like reviewing alternatives for our lining options and metal hardware. That will take time, but we are very hopeful at the moving pace! Becoming the most responsible version of ourselves is a fascinating and continuous journey, and every step counts.

What is PCR polycarbonate?

PCR means post-consumer recycled, and PCR materials are made from recycled plastic sourced from various discarded materials. To make PCR plastics, the waste must be converted into raw materials. As post-consumer waste is the most significant waste stream, we’re constantly looking for ways to reduce its size.

How is PCR plastic made?

After being collected, the plastic waste goes through specialised sorting, cleaning, and grinding. After that, the PCR granule is produced, melted down, and reprocessed into new plastic.

Is PCR plastic biodegradable?

No, it’s not. Biodegradable materials naturally break down into non-toxic component substances once consigned to a compost heap. PCR products have already achieved the goal of sustainability before consumers purchase them, with no need for further reprocessing.

What are the benefits of PCR polycarbonate?

PCR plastic offers many economic and environmental benefits.

Before charging your AirPods, make sure they are compatible with wireless charging.

1. Plug your wireless charger into a power source with the USB-A connector.
2. Place your AirPods in your AirPods case and then place it in the middle of the charger.
3. If the LED lamp on the side of the charger lights up, your AirPods are being charged correctly. If there is no indicator light or if it is blinking, pick up the AirPods case and make sure to place it in the center of the charger before putting it back.

Before charging your phone, make sure your phone is compatible with wireless charging.

All of our lightning cables are MFi certified, which means they are certified by Apple and are compatible with all Apple products with a lightning input. USB-A is a universal connector that can be used for various power sources like computers, power banks and walls.

USB-C to Lightning

USB-C to Lighting is an upgraded cable for Apple devices that charges your device faster. The lightning connector is compatible with most Apple products like iPhones, AirPods, iPads and any device that has a lightning connector. USB-C is a universal connector that can be used for various power sources like computers, power banks, tablets and walls.

This cable has a USB-C connector on both ends and can be inserted using either end. USB-C is a universal connector used in most new tech products like Macbooks, iPad Pro and Android phones.

In addition to the rights you as a consumer have to submit a complaint in relation to a defect product pursuant to applicable consumer protection legislation, we offer a one (1) year warranty on all products sold on our website. The warranty covers manufacturing defects.

However, please note that the warranty doesn’t cover defects or damage caused by:

• Outer circumstances such as e.g., loss, heat, fire, water or other fluids;
• Misuse or improper use including dropping the product (unless a specific drop protection warranty has been provided by IDEAL in relation to a specific product) causing e.g. dents, broken or crushed parts etc.;
• Esthetical changes that occur due to normal wear and tear and aging such as e.g. scratches, alteration of the color, worn leather and flaking paint; or
• Repair or modifications to the product not carried out by IDEAL.

Furthermore, the warranty will only apply if you’ve followed the instructions in our use- or care guide for the specific product.

Note that the value of your product decreases over time and that this is taken into account when assessing warranty issues.

Are you experiencing problems with your wireless charger? Is it blinking, or does it not light up at all?

Please check the points below before getting in touch. That makes it easier for us to help you if the problem persists, and can also save you time.

Please check that your phone model is compatible with our wireless chargers here.

Double-check that the included USB-A cable works. Please check by using another cable if you have one. You can also check the included cable by charging another product, using the same outlet.

When you have checked that the micro USB cable works, make sure that you place the phone in the middle of the charging pad.

Please ensure that you’ve taken off the phone’s case and that the phone doesn’t have any metal covering.

Check if the charger works without the case, you can find out whether the problem is caused by the case or by the charger.

To remove your AirPods Case, you need to press the bottom of the case, where you insert your charger.

To remove a case that is stuck, we recommend using a small object to push your AirPods out of the case (though not a too small object, we do not want it to cause any damage to the charging input). One suggestion is to use your charger to push your AirPods out.

NOTE! Never use objects that could damage your AirPods.

To remove your case, we recommend:

Use both hands to push away the edges of the bottom of the case, starting with one corner. Never try to tear off the case on the side where it is thinnest (at the camera hole on the iPhone), as there is a great risk that your case will break.

You may use a soft, pointed object to pry the case. NOTE! Never use objects that can scratch your mobile!

To avoid this in the future, we recommend that you remove the mobile cover periodically (at least once a month).

Most of our cases are compatible with NFC, Google Pay, and wireless charging. The metal plate inside the case is carefully cut out where the signal for charging and payment functions is located.

This enables these functions without it affecting the "Accessories of attraction" - the combination with a fashion case and a wallet.

Please note that we can't guarantee compatibility with wireless chargers produced by another company.
