Payments

Your transaction and payment information is handled directly by our payment providers with secure encryption under strict banking standards. Your credit card information is sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or seen by anyone other than your bank, not even by IDEAL OF SWEDEN.


IDEAL OF SWEDEN holds the SSL certificate and meets the requirements of PCI DSS.


The payment process includes multiple control steps to ensure maximum safety. If your payment was successful, you will receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours.

We accept credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express (United States only), Diners Club, JCB) and other local payment options.

If you have chosen to pay with Klarna invoice and want to pause your invoice due to return, please use Klarna's app.

Campaigns

The following applies to our online campaigns:

  • The promotional offer only applies on orders placed directly on our website
  • The offer is limited in time and cannot be used for orders placed before or after the campaign period.
  • Discount codes can not be combined with campaigns or used on discounted products


Information about our offers and promotions is given on our website and in our newsletters that come by e-mail.


Do you want to keep yourself updated on current offers, or to be the first to get information about our news, exclusive pre-orders, campaigns, and limited editions? Then you are welcome to subscribe to our newsletter. 


Some products are released in limited edition and others are incredibly popular and sold quickly during promotions. We reserve the right for products to run out of stock.


If you have purchased products with a package offer such as "buy 1, get 1 free", all products needs be returned. It is not possible to return individual products as this is a package offer.

As our campaigns are limited in time, they are only valid during the period when the campaign is visible on our website. If you have placed your order before or after the campaign, you are unfortunately not able to pay the campaign price.


If you have shopped just before the campaign period, you are of course welcome to return your order and make a re-purchase at the discounted price.


Discount codes

Below the total amount for your purchase, you’ll find a button labeled "Discount Code/Gift Card." Click on it to enter your discount code or gift card. Once you've done that, click "Verify" to apply the discount. The code will be applied if all conditions are met.


The discount code does not work?

  • Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the code
  • Try clearing cookies / cache and try again
  • Discount codes can not be combined and you can only use one discount code per order
  • Discount codes cannot be applied to products with a reduced price
  • Discount codes cannot be used for the purchase of gift cards
  • Some discount codes only apply to specific items and the codes are only valid until a certain date
  • Some codes only work for specific customers or certain countries
  • If you have received an offer in an email from us, the offer may only apply via the link you received. Please note that if the link contains a discount code then you can not add more discount codes to your purchase

Please note that you must enter the discount code before payment as the price cannot be adjusted later.




When you make a purchase, you accept the price stated. Unfortunately, we cannot add discount codes to a purchase afterward. If you wish to place a new order with your discount code, this is of course possible.


Please note, however, that we cannot cancel placed orders and that you must return your first order for the possibility of a refund.


Gift cards

A Gift Card is a voucher that a company can offer its customers to purchase. The company will decide on the value, conditions and validity of the Gift Card, such as: Which shops the gift card can be used, if it can be used online or whether it can be combined with other discounts or offers.


Below are the general terms of our Gift Card:


  • Can be used when purchasing online or in our own IDEAL Concept Stores.
  • The gift card is valid for one year starting from the day of purchase. It is not possible to extend the expiry date
  • Gift cards can be used partially where product price is less than the value of the gift card. When buying online, the excess value is left on your gift card. When buying in-store, you get a voucher on the excess amount.
  • Gift cards can only be used when buying products at full price. They can’t be used on discounted products, offers or with discount codes.
  • The Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase another Gift Card
  • The Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Can not be used at retailers
  • Lost gift cards/codes are not replaced

Keep in mind that your gift card code is valuable and should be treated as cash. Lost gift cards are not replaced.


At checkout, state the code on your gift card in the field below “I have a discount code/gift card”. The amount will then be deducted from your purchase.

The expiry date is printed on your gift card. Please note that it is unfortunately not possible to extend the expiry date. Once this date has passed, the card can no longer be used.

If your gift card code doesn’t work, please try the following:


Clear your cookies/cache and try again.

Please note that you can not use your gift card to purchase discounted products, gift cards can not be combined with discount codes and that it is only possible to use one gift card per order.

Did you buy the gift card in the same country as the country which you are making a purchase from? If you are trying to use your gift card in another country, this may cause an error. Please contact our customer support for assistance.
